What we do on this Budapest city tour
Join us on this 3-hour-long small group tour and let’s discover together this beautiful city. We’ll show you the main attractions going through the heart of Budapest, focusing on the Pest side. After this program, you will know the local history, habits, gastronomy, and the best bars, and restaurants. We even learn a little bit of Hungarian as well. Itinerary
First, we meet at 10:00 at the small park on Fővám Square. (Copy Fővám tér 24 into Google Maps for the exact location.) Please arrive 10-15 minutes earlier.
We introduce the Hungarian culture and gastronomy and interior visit the Central Market Hall.
We walk through the old town area and head to National Museum.
After the museum, we touch the Jewish District, where we visit the Great Synagogue.
We continue to the St. Stephen’s Basilica and the Hungarian Science Academy where we learn some basic Hungarian phrases.
Then we head to Liberty Square where you get local insight into everyday life during the communist regime.
The next part is walking on the Danube bank until the Shoe Memorial.
Our last destination is the Hungarian Parliament. Your local guide leaves you with plenty of useful information about what to do and where to go.
